The Talking to Titans Method

Four Lessons That Change the Way Pastors Engage High-Capacity People.

A relational, biblical, and practical framework for shepherding people of extraordinary influence, resources, and capacity.

01

Relationship Before Resource

See the person before you see the capacity.

Never turn a person into a prospect.

High-capacity leaders spend much of their lives surrounded by people who want money, influence, access, or opportunity. The pastor cannot become one more person standing in that line. They need authenticity, friendship, prayer, and presence.

Questions to Ask

  • What is God teaching you right now?
  • What keeps you awake at night?
  • What do you hope your life accomplishes?
02

Pastor the Person, Not the Portfolio

Don’t be intimidated by the room.

Never let someone else’s net worth make you forget your spiritual authority.

Their expertise does not diminish your calling. You are not at the table to teach a CEO how to run a company. You may be there to help that leader think about eternity, family, pressure, succession, and legacy.

Questions to Ask

  • What pressure are you carrying alone?
  • Who matters most to you?
  • How can I pray for you?
03

Purpose Without Pressure

Guard your motive. Raise vision.

You don’t build trust by what you ask for. You build trust by what you never take.

Connect generosity to what God is building—not personal gain or organizational pressure. Transformational generosity happens where vision, relationship, and divine purpose intersect.

Questions to Ask

  • What causes grip your heart?
  • Where do you see God at work?
  • What Kingdom problem would you love to help solve?
04

Invitation With Clarity and Courage

Have the courage to ask.

Clarity is kindness. Big vision deserves clear numbers.

A Spirit-led ask is not manipulation. It gives someone an opportunity to respond to what God may already be doing in their heart. If the answer is no, the relationship remains intact because it was never a transaction.

Questions to Ask

  • Would you pray about making a significant investment?
  • Have you asked God why He entrusted this to you?
  • May I show you the opportunity clearly?

You don’t master Talking to Titans by reading about relationships. You master it by having them.
